ACCOMPLISHMENTS

IN July 2015- The missions department donated 1200 pounds of Leg quarters (chicken) to the residents who lives in the Clara mount court Greensboro NC, During our 57 Jurisdictional Holy Convocation. We had service near the Malachi house many souls gave their lives to the Lord and several people Join Pastor Lockett church during that year.

 In April 2016- During the Women Department Convention in Charlotte NC, The Jurisdiction Missions department was able to share with thirty women in a transition home. We gave away shampoo, conditioner, tooth paste, tooth brushes, pillars Bibles. As Result of the giving, we purchased and provided for thirty women in this transitional home. I was able to share the word of God with the women during this time and 20 women confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

 April  21, 2017 – During the Woman convention  this year, the missions department was afforded the opportunity to minster to the New Directions women shelter at 732 8^th N. Myrtle Beach. We will be giving away women clothes, Slippers, hair brushes, combs, tooth paste, tooth brushes, Bibles, ETC. I was afforded the opportunity to preach the word of God for the New Direction’s women shelter of women. We were able to serve twenty four women in this particular location. Nineteen women confess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior during this event.

 Pray for the missions department that we will continue to make a spiritual impact in a changing world and that we will represent the 2^nd Jurisdiction in the spirit of Excellence.

The Bible says in Psalms 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way”.

These steps began early in the life of Dr. Terence P. Rhone. This anointed man of God was saved at the age of nine and has been preaching since the age of 16. In 1986, Dr. Rhone was ordained by Bishop Charles E. Blake. Dr. Rhone served as the President of the Youth Department of the Southern California First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Inc. from 1996 to 2009. Dr. Rhone served for many years as the Assistant Pastor at New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Dr. Raymond E. Watts. In July 2002, Dr. Rhone was appointed as the Pastor of the Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ in Pomona, California by Bishop Charles E. Blake.

Pastor Rhone graduated Cum Laude from Oral Roberts University in 1986, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In addition, he obtained his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in 1990. He completed an internal medicine residency at USC Los Angeles County Medical Center in 1994 and completed sub-specialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine in 1997. Dr. Rhone is board certified in the disciplines of internal medicine and lung disease. He currently practices in Downey, California as an internist and a specialist in lung disease and critical medicine.

Dr. Terence Rhone is a Holy Ghost filled preacher who loves the Lord and who is committed to doing His will. Dr. Rhone’s vision is to impact the community and the world through preaching the Gospel and ministering to the whole man, body, soul and spirit. This desire has led Dr. Rhone to the Mission field. Dr. Rhone has focused on the Mission field for many years and served as the AIM Chairman for the Jurisdiction of Brazil COGIC from 2004 to 2012. Dr. Rhone has also provided medical mission support to the Philippines since 2007. On November 11, 2012, Dr. Rhone received an Episcopal appointment as Bishop to the Jurisdiction of Brazil COGIC.  In December 2024 Bishop Rhone was appointed by Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard as the President for the COGIC World Missions Department.

Bishop Rhone is married to Mrs. Elizabeth Rhone and is the proud father of three children: Bethany (Elder Carl Sims), Samuel and Joel.  He is also the loving grandfather of Lydia & Jehiel Sims.

Dr. Lee Van Zandt is the Co-Founder of Monument of Love. She is an international Evangelist and The Elect Lady of Global World Mission  for the Church of God in Christ , and a mission worker in the Kingdom of God. She is a woman of God who knows how to love and entreat people of all colors, kinds, and creeds.  She is also the Supervisor of the Women’s Department of the Maryland Eastern Shore Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ.
