Pastor Otis Lockett, Jr, widely known as “Pastor O,” has diligently committed himself to pastoring and bridging the gap between thriving congregations of young and old.


Pastor Otis Lockett, Jr., widely known as “Pastor O,” is the eldest son of the late Bishop Otis Lockett, Sr. and First Lady Barbara T. Lockett. Currently, he serves as Senior Pastor of Evangel Fellowship Word Ministries and Founding Pastor of Zion Place Ministries in Greensboro, North Carolina. Under the nurturing guidance of his father, Pastor Lockett, Jr. answered the call to ministry at age 16. Since then, he has diligently committed himself to pastoring and bridging the gap between thriving congregations of young and old.

Based on his great ability to lead while also serving others in excellence, Pastor O was appointed as Chairman of the Auxiliaries in Ministry for the North Carolina 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. In 2012, he was elevated to Superintendent of the Bishop Otis Lockett, Sr. District, where he oversees several progressive churches in both North and South Carolina. Previously, he faithfully served as the Jurisdictional Youth President, and in 2009, was appointed by the C.O.G.I.C. International Youth Department as the Campus Ministries Commission Coordinator.

A native of the North Carolina Triad area, Pastor O earned dual degrees in Psychology and African-American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During his undergraduate studies, he established an outreach for college students entitled Youth Taking Charge (YTC), which is still impacting the lives of students on and around neighboring campuses today. He earned a Master’s degree in African-American Literature and English; and also completed his Master of Arts in Teaching in English Education.

Upon receiving the anointed mantle following his father’s transition from life to eternal life, Pastor O has been recognized as one of the premier, dynamic voices for this generation and the advancement of God’s kingdom. He consistently demonstrates his love for the Lord in his daily walk.

His powerful, life-changing teachings of the Word of God bring conviction and challenges the 21st century. It is his desire to see God’s people fulfill their divine purpose towards pursuing Christ-likeness, practicing Christ’s love and promoting Christ’s legacy.

His academic journey led him through the corridors of Guilford County Public Schools, UNC-Greensboro, NCA&T State University, and Oral Roberts University, where he attained multiple degrees, including a Master of Divinity. Beyond the pulpit, he serves as a leader in various capacities within the church, including President of the Youth Department and Superintendent of the Bishop Otis Lockett District (BOLD). In December 2012, he assumed the mantle of Pastor at Evangel Fellowship Church, leading with unwavering dedication. His life is enriched by the union with his lovely wife, Lady Andrea Paige Shelby, whom he married on August 20, 2022.

“Lady Drea” a native of Detroit, Michigan, embodies grace and compassion as the esteemed First Lady of Evangel Fellowship Church. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Management from Eastern Michigan University, bringing a blend of professionalism and passion to her ministry. A talented member of The Shelby 5, winning First Place at the COGIC Fine Arts competition in 2005. Her commitment to serving others is matched only by her devotion to her family. In August 2022, she embarked on a lifelong journey with her beloved husband, Pastor Otis Lockett, Jr. Together, they find joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing moments with their beautiful daughter, Paige Melody Lockett.

An inspiration to all generations, Superintendent Nathaniel L. Green is a servant leader dedicated to the practical and spiritual development of men, women, and youth around the world. His passion for worship and the word of God has created a ministry of transformation to those who are in the pursuit of truth.

In 2015 Pastor Green was appointed as the Pastor of Grace Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Dallas, TX, as well as Superintendent of the Grace Fellowship District of the Texas Northeast Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, led by Bishop Nelson J. Gatlin. After years of impactful servitude and faithful leadership as Vice President of the Internation Youth Department (IYD) of the Church of God in Christ, Pastor Green was elevated in 2021 to the seat of President of the Youth Department, Serving under the leadership of Presiding Bishop J. Drew Sheard.

Pastor Green was raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord by his mother, Lady Naomi G. Ward. He also carries a rich legacy established by his grandparents, the late Bishop Samuel and Vivian F. Green, Jr. He is blissfully married to Lady Kennisha L. Green, who serves faithfully with him in life and in ministry. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children Nathaniel Jr. and Karis. He is the evidence of transformation and an international advocate for discipleship, determined to bring men, women and children of all backgrounds to Jesus Christ.
